The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
